If Our Kawaii Cat Competed at the Winter Olympics ๐ฑ๐
Part 1 — Milano Cortina 2026 Edition
Four sports. One tiny fluffy athlete. Zero survival instincts. Let the games begin!
The Winter Olympics are in full swing in Milano Cortina 2026, and naturally, we had one question: what if our kawaii cat decided to compete? ๐ค
No training. No experience. Just pure chaotic fluff energy and an unshakeable belief that being cute is basically the same as being athletic.
We entered our cat into four events. Here's how it went. ๐พ
Curling: "I Was Born for This" ๐ฅ
The focus was unreal. Tongue out. Eyebrows furrowed. Tiny paws gripping the broom with the intensity of someone who hasn't slept in 48 hours but refuses to quit.
The stone? Honestly, nobody knows where it went. It might still be sliding somewhere in northern Italy. But the sweeping technique? Flawless. 10/10. No notes.
๐งน Fun fact:
Curling stones weigh about 20 kg. Our cat weighs about 4 kg. But what our cat lacks in body mass, it makes up for in dramatic facial expressions.
Figure Skating: "I Am the Main Character" ⛸️✨
If there's one thing cats know how to do, it's act like they own the room. And figure skating? That's basically a sport designed for maximum drama and self-importance.
Our cat glided onto the ice with the confidence of someone who has never once questioned their own greatness. Eyes half-closed. Smug little smile. Tail spinning out in a perfect spiral. The audience didn't know whether to score the performance or just start clapping.
The judges gave a perfect 10.0 across the board. Was it technically correct? Debatable. Was it the most fabulous thing they'd ever seen? Absolutely.
⛸️ Fun fact:
Figure skaters spin at up to 300 RPM. Our cat naturally spins at that speed when chasing its own tail, so really, the training was already built in.
Bobsled: "I Immediately Regret This Decision" ๐ท๐ฑ
This is where things went... sideways. Literally.
Our cat climbed into the bobsled thinking it was just a fun little sled ride. You know, like a cardboard box on a slight incline. It was not.
The moment that bobsled launched, our cat's face transformed into the most perfect expression of pure, existential terror. Eyes wider than physically possible. Mouth frozen in a silent scream. All four paws gripping the edges with claws fully deployed. The helmet was three sizes too big and sliding over one eye, which honestly just made everything worse.
The teammate in the back? Equally terrified. Two tiny cats, one bobsled, 150 km/h, and zero control over the situation.
They finished the run. They survived. They have not spoken about it since.
๐ท Fun fact:
Bobsleds can reach speeds of 150 km/h (93 mph). That's faster than a cheetah. Our cat usually panics at anything faster than a slow walk to the food bowl.
Biathlon: "Wait... Are Those Fish Targets?" ๐ฟ๐
Biathlon: the sport where you ski for a while, then lie down and shoot things. Our cat was skeptical about the skiing part but very interested in the shooting part — specifically when it noticed the targets.
See, the Olympic committee made a small accommodation for our feline athlete: the standard round targets were replaced with little fish-shaped ones. And suddenly, our cat went from "meh, sports" to full sniper mode.
One eye closed. The other squinting with laser focus. The rifle was comically oversized — roughly the same length as the entire cat — but that didn't matter. When there's fish involved, cats don't miss.
5 out of 5 targets hit. The skiing part? Let's just say our cat took some... creative shortcuts through the snow. But hey, perfect shooting score!
๐ Fun fact:
In real biathlon, athletes must hit targets from 50 meters away while their heart rate is over 180 bpm from skiing. Our cat's heart rate is always at 180 bpm — it's called being a cat.
๐ MewVibe Medal Count — Part 1
Total: 3 Gold, 1 Bronze. Not bad for someone who naps 16 hours a day. ๐
Coming in Part 2... ๐
Our kawaii cat isn't done yet! Next time, we're tackling:
๐ ๐ฟ ๐ ⛷️
Ice hockey, ski jumping, snowboard, and alpine skiing. Will our cat survive? Will there be more fish? Stay tuned!
๐ฌ Which sport should our cat try next?
Drop your ideas in the comments! The best suggestions might make it into Part 2. ๐ฑ✨
